Meet Tarah, the heart behind Made by Mimi.
Made by Mimi was born out of motherhood, grief, health challenges, and a deep desire to create simpler, more trustworthy products for her family.
During one of the hardest seasons of her life, Tarah began paying closer attention to everyday choices at home — the products her family used, the ingredients they touched, and the small changes that could make daily routines feel more intentional.
As a homeschooling mother of four, she started creating products in her own kitchen: soaps, lotions, deodorants, cleansing oils, diaper cream, toothpaste, laundry soap, hand soap, sugar scrubs, and other household essentials.
What began as products for her own family grew through samples shared with sisters-in-law, friends, and local families who were also looking for handmade products with simple, recognizable ingredients and honest transparency.
Made by Mimi is more than soap or lotion. It is Tarah’s way of turning a difficult season into something useful, beautiful, and meaningful for other families.
